About Ava O'Neal Wilson
A strategic financial leader with an eye for what clients need
From Albany, Georgia, and brings over 24 years of experience in accounting and training people. She earned her associate's degree in Business Administration from Darton College and her bachelor's degree in accounting from Albany State University.
Ava is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and local chambers of commerce. She also participated in the 2017 Leadership Albany program and was recognized as one of Rural Leader Magazine's "40 Under 40" that same year.
In addition to her professional work, Ava founded and leads the Mia Deborah Women's Scholarship Organization. Since founding in 2015, this organization has awarded more than $30,000 in college scholarships and prizes to young women pursuing their education.
In 2023, Ava and her husband created The Wilson Touch Foundation, a non-profit that helps people and small businesses grow. The foundation focuses on job training, providing support to organizations, and offering life coaching and social-emotional learning to families in the United States and worldwide.
